Tales from 1001 Nights (Arabian Nights) set
These stories are known and loved by millions of people all around the world. They would make an amazing set with each of the stamps telling their own story: 1) Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp Luckily for us, Disney doesn't own this tale. Stamp with the Jinn (Genie) would be perfect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aladdin 2) Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ali_Baba_and_the_Forty_Thieves I guess everyone knows the plot, so I was thinking something with the treasures and the cave, but there other options as well 3) Sinbad the Sailor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinbad_the_Sailor There are many ideas and many creatures/monsters here, because Sinbad traveled near and far. I was thinking about something with the giant bird, but there's a lot to choose from. 4) Scheherazade The main storyteller, who outsmarted the murderous sultan and stayed alive by telling him stories every night withouth finishing them https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scheherazade 5) Prince Ahmad and the Fairy Peri-Banu https://arabiannights.fandom.com/wiki/The_Story_of_Prince_Ahmed_and_the_Fairy_Paribanou https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peri Peri can be decribed as a female jinn. Integral to the Persian mythology, and also present in the tales from 1001 nights. I think another stamp with a female character is needed, and this one would be perfect. 6) Magic Carpet Not exclusive to Arabian Nights, but it's hard to imagine the set without it. Within the same tale, Prince Hussain, the eldest son of the Sultan of the Indies, travels to Bisnagar (Vijayanagara) in India and buys a magic teleporting tapestry, also known as a magic carpet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_carpet

Alice in Wonderland
A set with everyone's favourite characters from everyone's favourite book . Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (commonly Alice in Wonderland ) is an 1865 English novel by Lewis Carroll. Here are just a few facts about it: One of the best-known works of Victorian literature, its narrative, structure, characters and imagery have had huge influence on popular culture and literature, especially in the fantasy genre. The book has never been out of print and has been translated into 174 languages. Its legacy covers adaptations for screen, radio, art, ballet, opera, musicals, theme parks, board games and video games Luckily for us, both books, Alice in Wonderland and its sequel Through the Looking Glass are in the public domain and can be used for Slowly stamps. Important #1 : I do not take credit for this idea, as it originally belongs to Савва Р. and was first suggested here . This request is in English with a couple of pictures for your viewing pleasure - hopefully it can get some support. Important #2 : I am suggesting this as a global set, since the book is a true classic loved all around the world. However, if someone feels that this should be a UK-only set, feel free to drop a comment. On the left you will see Sir John Tenniel’s Classic Illustrations and on the right, stamp mock-ups based on the Soviet animation film, which you can watch with English subtitles here . List of characters with individual links. Alice holding the potion that says "Drink Me" The White Rabbit The Cheshire Cat The Caterpillar The Hatter The Queen of Hearts
