Marek Edelman was the last surviving leader or Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. He was a cardiologist. He is a very important person in polish culture. Connected to it’s history and literature. The interview with him and Hanna Krall is studied in polish schools. He was trying his best to stay strong and tell about the ghetto situation, even though these memories were very painful for him and made him stay silent for many years.

Perfect date for memorising him would be April 19th, the memory day of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
