New global stamp series "Symbols"
balloon fairy
Hello! I would like to propose to supplement the series of Celtic symbols that was never released and add other well-known symbols to it, turning it into a global series of stamps.
For example:
777 - luck, spirituality, intuition, and divine protection, with a strong connection to the spiritual realm.
Maneki-neko - is a common Japanese figurine which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/japanese-lucky-symbols
Horseshoe - A symbol of good luck known in many cultures. It is believed that a horseshoe hanging upside down "collects" good luck, and if down, "distributes" it.
Four-leaf clover - A world-famous symbol of good fortune and good luck. Associated with Irish culture, but understood worldwide.
Feng Shui Turtle - In Asian culture, the turtle is considered a symbol of longevity and stability. It is a globally recognized Feng Shui symbol.
Goldfish - A symbol of wish fulfillment and good luck, popular both in Eastern culture (China, Japan) and in Western mythology.
Yin-Yang - A symbol of harmony and balance, known far beyond Chinese philosophy. It is associated with wisdom, balance and cosmic order.
Number 13 - This is a symbol of mystery rather than luck, and is commonly known as a "mystical" or "unlucky" number. However, in some cultures it is considered lucky.
Pyramid with Eye (All-Seeing Eye) - A symbol of Freemasonry that appears on the American dollar. It is associated with mysticism, secrets, and global power.
Number 8 - In China, it is a symbol of infinity, wealth and good luck, especially when it comes to a date or address with the number 8.
The Koi carp (Japanese carp) is a symbol with rich symbolism, especially in Eastern cultures such as Japan and China.
Fortune Cookie - wisdom, fate and all that is unknown. This all comes from the "fortune" that is inside. https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/fortune-cookie
Scandinavian Runes - Runic symbols from the Germanic-Scandinavian culture became popular due to their magical and mystical meanings. For example, the rune "Algiz" (symbol of protection) and "Fehu" (symbol of wealth).
Egyptian Hieroglyphs - Symbols of ancient Egypt, such as the ankh (☥, symbol of life), the scarab (symbol of rebirth) and the eye of Horus (udjat, symbol of protection), are known throughout the world.
Chinese and Japanese characters - Characters such as "永" (eternity) or "和" (harmony) are popular due to calligraphy and Eastern philosophy.
Hindu symbols - Symbols associated with Hinduism and yoga, such as Om (ॐ), symbolizing the sound of the universe, and the swastika (in its original meaning as a symbol of good fortune and the sun).
Greek Symbols - Mythological and mathematical Greek symbols such as Δ (delta, symbol of change), Ω (omega, end) and the Labyrinth of the Minotaur.
Aztec and Mayan Symbols - Mayan calendar glyphs and Aztec symbols such as the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl are known for their unique Central American culture.
Alchemical symbols - Symbols of elements (gold, silver, mercury) and concepts (philosopher's stone, transformation) are popular in mysticism and esotericism.
Pagan and witch symbols - The pentagram (symbol of balance of the elements), triskelion (spiral symbol of movement) and other signs are used in modern culture associated with neo-paganism and esotericism.
Pacific - a peace symbol https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/no-war-peace-symbols
Emoji: X and O - These signs, especially in the form of a game or as symbols of friendship and love (X = kiss, O = hug), are easily recognizable across cultures.
**NOTICE: I am not familiar with popular symbols in other countries, perhaps this series can be supplemented with famous symbols from different countries, for example matryoshka for Russia and so on.
Any comments and additions are welcome!**
