Cusha
The Fiesta Grande de Chiapa de Corzo is a Chiapas celebration that includes the dance of the Parachicos, masked figures in colorful costumes who make offerings to venerated saints, such as Saint Anthony the Abbot, Saint Sebastian, and the Lord of Esquipulas. The festival, celebrated from January 8 to 23, is a melting pot of pre-Hispanic and colonial traditions, with music, amazing food, drinks, rituals and lots of dancing!
