[Cuba] Cuban Slang (Premium set)
Favi.writes
Since many countries have a premium set of stamps regarding slang, I decided to make a request to the Slowly Team to make one for my country. It could feature phrases such as:
-"Asere, ¿qué bolá?"/"¿Qué bolá, asere?": This phrase is commonly used among close friends as a greeting.
-"Amaneció con el moño virao": This phrase is often used to refer to someone who has a bad mood, its most accurate translation is "you woke up in the wrong side of the bed".
-"Coger un cinco/diez": This is commonly said when you want to take a break and someone is asking you to do stuff.
-"Eres más rollo que película": This is generally said when you see someone bluffing, and you know what they're doing.
-"No quieras estar cogiendo mangos bajitos": This phrase refers to a situation in which you want to get the easy way out, but that's not the right way to do it.
-"Andas al berro": This phrase is generally said when you have a very messy way of organizing your times and you don't know what to do next.
So, here are the phrases I suggest. Of course, you can use other phrases you can find everywhere on the internet, but these are some of the most known.
And, that's it. I hope you have a good day!
