Personally, I am not in favour of number 1 and number 2 statements, as they would likely be the cause of unnecessary spam. Furthermore, the purpose of Slowly is to create meaningful connections at one's own pace. Therefore, I believe that many would rather receive a thoughtful letter once a month, than a plain one every week (That is a matter of preference, of course).
