Women in science - Clara Immerwahr (Germany), Lise Meitner (Austria)
Confused Contralto
She was the first German woman to get a PhD in Chemistry (she specialised in Physical Chemistry), then was married to Fritz Haber, who got Nobel Prize for industrial synthesis of ammonia. Her husband tested toxic chemical weapons during WW 1 on soldiers, which was the cause of Clara's suicide.
Lise Meitner is sometimes referred to as "2nd Curie" since she also had a great impact on discovering radioactivity.

Why do we need a stamp for Clara Immerwahr, that nobody knows in Germany (at least I don't do so), when lot's of stamps are send into other countries where people than think, that this person had a huge impact on society in Germany and everybody here would know them?
If it is important to you to take a woman onto a stamp I would prefer Angela Merkel for Germany (she was the first woman as a chancellor in Germany and won the elections 3 times, which is a lot). Out of my opinion she is more important than Clara Immerwahr.
I won't say anything to Lise Meitner. Didn't knew her before, but she seems to be more famous and had a huge impact on discovering nuclear fission. Because she probably could be on a stamp from Austria, and I am from Germany, I won't judge that.
